Interior™ Grade
Interior™ grade is for interior uses only. It will not hold up in weather. The thickness is less than 1/2”. It is the smoother bark of three. Interior™ grade is occasionally laminated, such as in furniture construction. It is also used as an interior shingle with a lapped edge, or butted edge-to-edge with no lap, again in interior spaces.
Widths of individual bark shingles are random and range from 4” to 4’.
The Bark House® Pioneer Shingle
Styles include our traditional squared edge shingle and our new hand chopped shingle. The squared edge shingle has a clean, refined edge. The hand chopped style pre-dates the squared edge historically speaking. The Highland Craftsmen Bark House® Pioneer Shingle is made to the same standards as our traditional square edge siding. We create a live “hand-chopped” bottom edge to each shingle, which creates a more rustic look.
It is available in a 3’ x 3’ shingle and an 18” shingle.
